Current Projects for 2024 / 25

Creative Response Composing

Starting in 2023 with my Abstract Art creative response project. I invited composers to write music in response to abstract art exhibition in Reading Museum. I added QR codes next to the artwork so visitors could listen to the music of each composer. in 2024, the museum and art gallery commissioned me to compose a new piece for an Arctic Mirage exhibition which I called Thin Ice.. more info..

Harmonic Motion

This live act and composition has evolved throughout 2024 and is becoming a blend of ambient synth, world music and real instruments. Live performances at Waterfest in Reading in 2024 , followed by performances in South St Arts Centre 'EMOM Night' in Reading in October 2024. More gigs planned for 2025

Doyles Guitars

I'm recycling unused / unloved and second hand guitars and giving them new homes to beginner guitarists, with online lessons and challenges to improve their guitar playing skills. All in a single monthly subscription. Launching in 2025 here

World Groove CIC

Proud to be a 'Groove Ambassador' for this social enterprise founded by my good friend, Tomson Chauke. Uniting musicians around the world on a common groove. We also organise a new annual festival called the Reading World Music Festival to raise much needed funds for Refugees living in the Reading Area. Send instruments to Zimbabwe and establish cultural twinning with Reading and Zimbabwe. www.worldgroove.co.uk
